The shitty show that made them be an actually healthy relationship. Sure. ðŸ™„🙄

((OOC: I have a lot of feelings regarding the show for plenty of reasons but ya know, to each their own. The relationship between them both is indeed much healthier in the show and that is great representative which I’m all for. So the show does get great bonus points for that.

What I lack from it is any amount of real depth and emotion. The thing about Magnus and Alec’s relationship in the books is that we have two very different and very broken characters that probably really shouldn’t be together. They love each other fiercely but age, immaturity, jealousy and an alarming lack of communication quickly turns the relationship toxic. It takes the reader on a wild, heartbreaking ride which according to me makes for an interesting read. Despite the supernatural elements of the series there’s a lot about their struggles as characters and their relationship that I know a lot of people can relate to. I know I did when I read them for the first time and it helped in many ways. That’s why I found the characters, especially Alec, too flat in the show.

However, this is just my view on the matter and if you enjoy it then that’s great! 🙂 ))

7. What are you too hard on yourself for?

Basically everything. I’ve battled with severe performance anxiety my entire life and I constantly need to make sure to be nicer to myself. Let’s all be kinder towards ourselves, alright?

Are we going with Harry Potter? I assume we’re going with Harry Potter.

  1. Bill and Fleur. Forever and always.
  2. Wolfstar. The love that brings me the most pain. I blame all my friends.
  3. Remadora. Because to not include them would be blasphemy.

6. Who do you wish was with you right now?

All my friends that live in their own freaking countries? Like I miss you all a lot?
Also my dog. Because my dog is everything.

22. Favourite thing to do on rainy days?

I’m going to be super cliché here and say that I make the biggest cup of tea I can manage and read for hours. Sometimes I just listen to some music and nap. It’s all very soothing. 

16. What’s the most thoughtful present you’ve ever received?

Honestly, whenever someone has gotten me something just because they thought of me, I’m over the moon. A cup of coffee is enough tbh. I still got a rock shaped like a heart that I got from a boy in kindergarten, which he found on the beach. We were maybe five? Are you picking up how much of a sappy person I am?

I still can’t get over the fact that Snape was considered more of a hero then Regulus Black who basically died at the age of 18 to bring down Voldemort single handedly and it actually makes me cry that Reggie is forgotten by a lot of people. Regulus Black didn’t die for you guys to label Snape as the Slytherin hero.
