kitchen table, staring blankly. Lily walks in.

Lily: So the
transformation was okay?

Sirius: It was the most – normality I’ve had since this
whole shit show began.

Lily: That’s
good! Maybe you’ll start to see improvement –

Lily: …What?
That’s crazy. How is he meant to remember anything if he’s not
here?

Lily: It’s been a month. Give it time.

Sirius: He wants to move on with his life.

Lily: It’ll happen again.

Sirius: He
doesn’t know about… that.

Sirius: Yes, we lived together. But we also slept in the

His voice breaks and
he stops.

Sirius: That
curse was meant for me.

Sirius: Maybe
it’s for the best. He can move on, start a new life, stop living
