Remus walks in to
the kitchen, spotting Lily and Sirius.Remus:
How come you’re awake?There is silence.
Remus frowns at the tension.Remus looks to Lily,
concerned.Sirius continues to
stare.Lily gasps, hands
flying to her mouth. Sirius feels his knees go weak with relief.Lily: Before last night’s transformation?
Remus looks back to Sirius.
Remus: Wait,
there was a – wait…Sirius: There
was an ambush. A few days after. You got hurt.Lily: The
transformation must have…Remus is still
looking at Sirius. He talks to him in a low voice.Remus: There is one thing though…
Sirius: What?

Sirius is sat at the
kitchen table, staring blankly. Lily walks in.Lily: So the
transformation was okay?Sirius: It was the most – normality I’ve had since this
whole shit show began.Lily: That’s
good! Maybe you’ll start to see improvement –Lily: …What?
That’s crazy. How is he meant to remember anything if he’s not
here?Lily: It’s been a month. Give it time.
Sirius: He wants to move on with his life.
Lily: It’ll happen again.
Sirius: He
doesn’t know about… that.Sirius: Yes, we lived together. But we also slept in the
same bed and occasionally shagged each other –His voice breaks and
he stops.Sirius: That
curse was meant for me.Sirius: Maybe
it’s for the best. He can move on, start a new life, stop living
the remnants of one he doesn’t remember. It would be easier for
him.Sirius: I can’t keep looking at him and seeing nothing.
